The IP-COM G2206P-4-63W is a compact 6-port Gigabit Layer 2 cloud-managed PoE switch featuring 4× Gigabit PoE+ ports and 2× Gigabit uplink ports. It provides up to 58W total PoE power, 30W per PoE port, 12Gbps switching capacity, VLAN, port isolation, DHCP Snooping, loop protection and ProFi Cloud/App management.


Full Technical Description

The IP-COM G2206P-4-63W is designed for small network, IP surveillance and wireless networking installations where PoE connectivity and easy remote management are required.

It provides 4× 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE+ ports for connecting IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other PoE devices, together with 2× Gigabit data uplink ports for network connection or cascading.

The four PoE ports comply with IEEE 802.3af/at and support up to 30W per port, with a maximum total PoE output of 58W. PoE consumption and remaining power can be monitored, while individual PoE ports can be remotely enabled or disabled.

With a 12Gbps switching capacity and 8.9Mpps forwarding rate, the G2206P-4-63W provides non-blocking Gigabit switching for typical surveillance and SMB applications. The switch has a 2K MAC address table with automatic MAC learning.

The switch supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, QVLAN, VLAN transparent transmission, port isolation, DHCP Snooping, MAC address binding, loop protection, storm control, port mirroring and bandwidth limiting. It also supports network extension up to 250 metres in supported deployment modes.

Management is available through the IP-COM ProFi Cloud web interface, ProFi App and local web interface, allowing remote monitoring, configuration and PoE restart. This is particularly useful for IP surveillance installations where cameras may need to be remotely restarted.
