The IP-COM iLBE-5AC is a high-performance outdoor wireless CPE designed for long-distance wireless networking, point-to-point (PtP), point-to-multipoint (PtMP) and CCTV transmission applications.
It operates in the 5GHz band using IEEE 802.11a/n/ac technology and provides a maximum wireless rate of 867 Mbps. The integrated 23dBi directional antenna has a narrow 10° horizontal and vertical beamwidth, providing focused wireless transmission suitable for long-range links. IP-COM specifies a transmission range of up to 25 km under appropriate installation and environmental conditions.
The iLBE-5AC incorporates IP-COM's proprietary ipMAX TDMA protocol, designed to improve wireless performance and capacity in outdoor PtMP deployments. It also supports iLink automatic pairing/bridging, simplifying the configuration of P2P connections between compatible units
The device features one 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port with Passive PoE power input. A PoE power adapter is included. The outdoor enclosure is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water, while integrated 6000V lightning protection provides additional protection for outdoor deployments.
Multiple operating modes are available, including AP, Station, WISP, Router, Client, P2P, P2MP and WDS Repeater, making the iLBE-5AC suitable for a wide range of wireless infrastructure applications.
