Full Technical Description
The IP-COM CPE5 is a compact outdoor wireless CPE designed for establishing reliable wireless connections between buildings, surveillance locations and network infrastructure. It operates in the 5GHz band using IEEE 802.11a/n/ac technology and provides a maximum wireless rate of 867 Mbps
The integrated 9dBi directional dual-polarized antenna provides a focused wireless signal with approximately 30° horizontal and vertical beamwidth, making the CPE5 suitable for directional wireless links. IP-COM specifies a range of up to 1 km for suitable outdoor point-to-point deployments with clear line of sight.
The CPE5 supports AP and Station modes and can be used for PtP, PtMP, WISP, router, client and WDS repeater applications. The iLink automatic pairing function simplifies the setup of compatible wireless bridge connections, while the CPE Controller allows centralized management.
For outdoor installations, the unit features an IP65-rated enclosure. It has one 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet port and supports both 12V DC and 12V passive PoE power. A PoE injector is included.
