The built-in tuner slots provide space for 2 FBC tuner modules (DVB-S2, DVB-C) or a dual DVB-T2 unit. A DVB-S2 FBC Twin tuner has 8 demodulators. On two conventional power cables (for example Twin-LNB), the tuner is comparable with 2 conventional and 6 additional tuners working in continuous operation. So you can see 8 different transponder transmitters from 2 different satellite levels at the same time. In SCR (Unicable) operation with 8 frequencies it is equivalent to 8 conventional tuners.

What is a DVB-C FBC tuner?

A DVB-C FBC tuner has 8 demodulators. This is equivalent to a receiver with 8 traditional DVB-C tuners. So you can watch 8 stations at the same time, stream or record at the same time.
