XS4 is the new access control platform from SALTO, which allows users to control and manage a wider range of applications. To perform routine tasks: for example, editing new user keys, setting up an access control plan, emergency opening in extreme situations, etc., SALTO has developed a useful set of tools.
Lock Initialization: PPD allows you to set the master data of each lock during system setup by programming the information required for startup.
Diagnostics of electronic locks: PPD takes data to diagnose the status of electronic locks, such as: Firmware version of the lock, serial number, free memory lock, battery status, time and date of the electronic lock.
Emergency opening: It is possible to open the door via PPD in case the key card is lost, when the lock is in inviolable mode or if the batteries do not provide enough power and it is not possible to unlock it with an electronic card.
Audit data collection: collects all events that are made and recorded by the lock to be on the system computer for further analysis.
Updating the locks: The PPD updates the electronic locks with the latest data from the access plan for optimal system operation; time canceled, blacklist of key cards.
Firmware Update: PPD updates the SALTO electronic locks firmware to improve device performance and reliability by installing the latest firmware version.
Autonomous power supply: 3 alkaline batteries - LR03 - AAA 1.5V.
Connection to the XS4 2.0 product range: contactless connection via NFC technology.
