The box is characterized by powerful hardware and a wide range of entertainment options. It supports all common functions that a modern multimedia box must have.

Hardware: the technology under the hood of the OCTAGON SX889 HD H.265 IP
The machine room of the SX889 HD contains the latest hardware,
with which almost all your multimedia requirements can be met. A Hisilicon 32 bit processor and a multi-core graphics processor are installed. This equipment not only ensures smooth playback of your multimedia content, but also fast boot times and fast navigation within the multilingual menus.
Full HD resolution H.265 HEC 1080P
With the OCTAGON SX889 HD H.265 IP Receiver, you can enjoy your content in razor-sharp FHD resolution at 60 frames per second with 1920 x 1080 pixels. Furthermore, the SX889 HD H.265 IP E2TV offers multiroom TV client system from Enigma2 devices. The content is decoded by the SX889 HD in the HEVC / H.265 standard,
which among other things helps to conserve your bandwidth. Standards such as The OCTAGON SX889 HD H.265 IP supports H.264 and AVS as well as almost all video, audio and image formats.

The OCTAGON SX889 comes with the extremely popular and easy-to-use Linux operating system ex works. Interface diversity and connectivity

There are two USB ports on both sides of the multimedia box. On the back of the SX889 HD H.265 IP you will also find an HDMI 1.4b connection, an S / PDIF interface and an Ethernet LAN connection. A connection for the included external IR receiver is also attached.
