Hochiki YBN-R/6 Conventional detector support base

 

The YBN-R / 6 base is the basis for all CDX Series Conventional Detectors. It is fully compatible with almost all conventional fire detection panels.

 

It has square terminals for connecting the zone cables, thus providing a safe and reliable termination of the zone without providing line continuity in case of removal of a detector from its base. Therefore, if Fire Alarm Buttons are connected in the same zone, they must be connected before the detectors. The built-in third terminal also provides the possibility of connection and bright repeater. Accepts cables with cross section up to 2.5 mm2.

 

Its features are the very small height (8 mm) and the very easy installation of the detector in a bayonet type socket. It has no electronic component.
