The Dahua NVR5232-EI2 is a professional 32-channel WizSense Network Video Recorder (NVR) designed for advanced IP surveillance systems. Supporting up to 32 IP cameras and camera resolutions of up to 32MP, it provides a powerful recording and management platform for commercial, industrial, residential, and security installations. With up to 448 Mbps incoming, recording, and outgoing bandwidth when AI is disabled, the NVR is designed to handle high-resolution multi-camera video streams efficiently. It supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG compression and provides advanced decoding performance, including up to 10 channels of 8MP video at 30 fps under the specified decoding configuration. The NVR integrates Dahua's WizSense AI capabilities, including face detection and recognition, SMD Plus, perimeter protection, video metadata, AcuPick, and WizSeek. AI functions can help identify people and vehicles, reduce false alarms, and accelerate event searching. Compatible cameras can also provide additional AI functions such as ANPR, people counting, heat maps, PPE detection, and smart object detection. For storage, the NVR provides 2 SATA HDD bays, with each drive supporting up to 26TB according to Dahua's current specification. Video output includes 8K HDMI, while network connectivity is provided through a Gigabit RJ45 port. The 1U form factor supports both rack and desktop installation.
