The Dahua NVR4104HS-P-4KS3 is a compact 4-channel PoE network video recorder (NVR) designed for professional IP video surveillance systems. It supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP and provides 4 integrated PoE ports for direct connection and power delivery to compatible network cameras. The recorder supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG decoding, helping optimize video storage and bandwidth. It can decode up to 4 channels of 4MP video at 30 fps or up to 8 channels of 1080p at 30 fps, while providing up to 80 Mbps incoming and recording bandwidth and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth.

For intelligent surveillance, the NVR provides 4-channel SMD Plus by recorder, with secondary filtering for people and motor vehicles to help reduce false alarms caused by environmental conditions. It also supports AI functions from compatible cameras, including face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection, people counting, stereo analysis and heat map applications.

Storage is provided through one SATA drive bay supporting up to 20TB, while HDMI and VGA outputs allow local monitoring. With its compact 1U-style chassis and integrated PoE connectivity, the NVR4104HS-P-4KS3 is well suited to small offices, retail premises, homes, commercial buildings and other compact surveillance installations.
